Abstract

The aim of this study was to design a model of professional competencies of human resources with the approach of human dignity in Islam. The present study is applied-developmental in terms of purpose; and in terms of data type it is mixed (qualitative-quantitative).In qualitative section, data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 16 scientific and executive experts based on purposive method. in quantitative section, data was collected through questionnaire. The statistical population includes 826 employees of Iran Oil Engineering and Development Company, 342 of whom were selected as a statistical sample based on logical sample size determination and using stratified random sampling. Data analysis was performed in the qualitative section based on thematic analysis method, and in the quantitative section based on structural equation modeling technique. After implementing the interview texts, 174 key phrases and 68 basic themes were extracted, which were classified into 14 organizing themes, and finally, by classifying the content of these themes, 4 comprehensive themes were obtained. The results show that professional competencies of human resources with the approach of human dignity in Islam have 4 dimensions of individual (with components of justice seeking, rule of law, moral ability and trust building), job (with components of autonomy, job knowledge and professionalism), organizational (with components of organizational insight, organizational leadership and organizational participation) and social (with components of social responsibility, social rights, democracy and social discipline). In a quantitative section, the results show high compatibility between presented model and the real world.
